So many people throw around their word as though it means nothing to them – they do not carry My heart! It does not matter whether they sit in the pews… if they do not keep their word, they do not know Me.
For my word means something to me. In fact, my word means everything to me.
I stand by my word. My word does not return to me void, but it accomplishes the purpose for which I sent it.
My Word means something to Me. Does it mean something to you? Does it mean everything to you?
When you see situations around you and they do not line up with My Word that I have spoken, do you stand on My Word regardless of what you see? When your emotions are trying to get you to react out of your flesh, do you instead choose to respond as though what I say is the final Word in this situation?
When I speak a word that you don’t want to hear, do you ignore it… pretend not to hear it… pretend to not understand it? Or do you obey it regardless of the cost, how you feel, and how it looks?
* Let Me Speak for Myself:
So many will not stand on my Word as though they truly believe what comes out of My mouth. They instead look at their circumstances to tell them what’s going on. They let other people, bank account balances, and the news tell them whether or not My promises will come to pass. I don’t get to speak for Myself, but others speak for Me! And they speak words which have no resemblance to Mine… yet many of My so-called people do not even notice the difference.
If you think you’ve felt the pain of not being known… take a moment to stand in My shoes and realise that I know your pain. For many of those who call themselves My people do not know Me. They may know the golden calf version they’ve created to ‘show’ and ‘contain’ who I am, but they do not know My heart, neither do they care to know My heart or to honour me. They do not conform to the new man I paid a heavy price to redeem for them, but they are insistent instead on living in their old man.
* The Integrity of Your New Man:
IF YOU CANNOT BELIEVE YOUR WORD, YOU WON’T BELIEVE MY WORD. The problem is, you think I’m like you – instead of you realising that you are really like Me! You think that because you say something and don’t do it, that I am the same. But that’s not Who I am at all and that is not what I do! And it’s not who you are, either!
IF YOU CAN THROW AWAY YOUR WORD, IT IS BECAUSE IN YOUR HEART YOU EXPECT ME TO THROW AWAY MY WORD. BUT I NEVER THROW AWAY MY WORD!
The word of your old man means very little, because it is in alignment with your flesh. The word of your new man means everything, because it is in alignment with My Word. Yet until My people choose to live out of their new man and agree with the already accomplished crucifixion of their old man, they will not live in power.
YOUR WORD IS THE KEY TO YOUR FAITH. Why? Because YOU GAUGE THE POWER OF YOUR WORD BASED ON WHAT YOU PERCEIVE TO BE THE POWER OF MY WORD. When really, what you have been invited to do, is to live out of your new man, where your heart becomes one with Me, your words are already aligned with mine, and you start to live the things you say.
YOUR WORDS CLEARLY SHOW WHETHER YOU ARE LIVING OUT OF YOUR OLD MAN OR YOUR NEW MAN.
Many of those who call themselves My people are choosing to throw their word around as though they were nothing… because they do not understand the value that I give to My Words. Do not identify yourself with my name if you will not align with my heart!
I am not a coin slot machine that you can go to, to get what you want, when you want it. My promises come on the other side of knowing me and aligning with my heart.
When you align with My heart, you word suddenly becomes important to you, you treasure it, and you use it wisely and with the greatest of integrity. If you’ve promised to love and cherish, then love and cherish, regardless of what you are hearing or seeing in return. If you’ve promised to pay an amount, then pay it no matter what you think you can afford. If you’ve promised to take your child on a special outing, then do it when you said you would! These are not little things – these are the big, big things!
Your words are your integrity. Guard your integrity like you guard your life, for then your heart will be like my heart. Keep your integrity like it’s all your have.
In the end, it is all you have. If you do not have your integrity, it is impossible for you to appropriate my promises.
So many wonder why their faith fails them, yet they throw away their integrity by knowing in their heart that they do not mean the words they are speaking, or that they do not expect Me to fulfil My Word. Nobody can believe, without having integrity. Your integrity is the most valuable thing you possess. It is the key to your faith, because when you do start trusting My Word, believing what you say you believe and doing what you say you’ll do, you start to see both your heart and your life change. The integrity of your words are the key to you walking in the promised land or staying stuck in the wilderness.
When you truly trust my word, then you will start to trust your own. When you trust your own word, you will see my promises come to pass in your life.
I speak it. I do it. If your heart is one with me, you will speak it, and you will do it, too.
* Words From Heaven or Hell?
The words that you speak can only have two sources – they are either words birthed from heaven, or words birthed from hell. There is no middle ground. There is no justification.
Your mouth is either wielding the words that the kingdom of hell has stirred in your heart to speak, or they are wielding the words that the kingdom of heaven has stirred in your heart to speak. One is a weapon of destruction. The other is a weapon of love. And love never fails.
If you are wielding words from hell, you can be sure it’s your old man who is speaking them. If you are wielding words from heaven, you can be sure it’s your new man who is speaking them.
Let your words be my words and mine alone. My Son never even spoke a word that did not come directly from me – would you yield your mouth to mine?
Guard your integrity. Guard your heart because out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.
* Keep Your Word to Love Others:
Stop treating your marriage vows like contracts, and not covenants. You call yourself My people, yet you do not even know what a covenant is any more. You do not know what it is to swear to your hurt… to pay whatever price is required to guard the integrity of your words, like I do mine. You throw separation and divorce around like the rest of the world, as though there is no power in your heart to do anything differently, and yet I have given you the very power of My own Heart and My own Words within you!
I have guarded the integrity of my words with everything I have. It cost me the life of my Son to keep my word. Yet you will let you own words fall to the ground because you think someone else is not loving you or serving you like you think they should do. How can you pretend to know Me and serve Me and carry such a heart? Should I divorce myself from you because you do not love Me and serve Me as I would desire you to? No, My answer is not to reject you, but to love you. And that is your answer, too. Keep your word of love to those you promised it to.
I said that the love of the great body of people would grow cold. I saw it from long ago. This breaks My heart! The willingness to love without fail, even to your own hurt, is what is distinguishing those who are truly My people on the face of the earth. If you want to know who is just using My name, and who is a genuine, believing son of the Most High God, just look at who is living a life of unconditional love without compromise… compared to those whose ‘love’ comes and goes.
I didn’t say Jesus would sacrifice His life – only if people loved Him in return, or only if they fit His mould. Why do you change your word according to how other people treat you? Or according to whether they will become who you want them to be? Your word has got nothing to do with how others are acting, because My Word has got nothing to do with how others are acting. My word is truth and it stands regardless of anything else! It doesn’t matter what everything looks like, it doesn’t matter how you feel – nothing else gets a say unless I give it a say! Let your words be like My words.
My eyes are searching throughout the whole world, looking for those in Whom I can show Myself strong. I am looking for those whose word stands firm, and who will demonstrate the maturity of love. Align your words with Mine today. Step into the integrity of your new man. And you will know My heart, and see the promises come to pass in your life.
